Unique Shopping Experience

Posted by bintari in Uncategorized

Vinci I didn’t go to Singapore during last Singapore Great Sale or even went to KL when VNC have big discount at their flagship store, however I still have the merchandise that I picked by my self from there.

How is it possible?

First of all thanks to my beloved husband as he always ask me when he has a business trip “what do you need from Singapore?” Kuala Lumpur? Hong Kong? Bangkok? Sidney? Beijing? Or anywhere else.

I don’t always request something coz I realize ….I do have enough shoes, bags, and apparel in my wardrobe.

But when he called me just right in front of the store and say “They have big sale, up to 50%. Are you sure you don’t want anything from here??” Just like other women’s behavior…big sale is too attractive to missed…..this is the opportunity to have branded item with special price…amazingly if 50% cut price!!

Considering he doesn’t have plenty of time to shop around , I have to think and decide quickly !!

And if finally I say yes….the next question would be “what kind of shoes or bag do you want?”

Well, It hard to describe. It is the women stuff, men never concern about trends, fashion and style. They only know 2 colors, black and not black….they  don’t care about beige, off white, Ivory, cream, honey , olive, tawny, violet, fuchsia, berry, bronze, cinnamon, mahogany and so on….No wonder shopping time become nightmare for them.

Fortunately we have technology that helps us in many ways. I just ask him to take photograph (with his mobile phone) of the merchandise that closest to my quick brief, and send me trough MMS. I just picked one from 4-5 photo that I had received . The more effective alternative is, I just browsed the internet, and have quick search about the goods that I prefer. Simply SMS him the code, size, color and finally…. I get the item which exactly the same to what I have seen from the computer’s monitor.

He was glad to not waste his valuable time in shopping center, and I am happy to have the branded items with special price that I have chosen from 2000 km away…or even more. Thanks to technology!

Sephia-the secret lover

Posted by bintari in Uncategorized

If you check at the dictionary sepia means a reddish-brown colour associated particularly with early monochrome photographs.Well, just alike grey color it never have the firm connotation- in the middle of Black & White- as always represent as uncertainties

Sephia didn’t have any meaning in Bahasa Indonesia until Sheila on 7 introduced their popular song – Sephia – my secret lover. The term become trendy, when somebody whispering “would you be my sephia?” – there is no another explanation others than he/she ask u to be his/her secret lover.

There are so many articles about disadvantage of being the secret lover. But what is the advantage then?

Let’s try to have positive perception on these…free commitment, shortcut for having fun, no future relationship, no pain and tears coz no need real ‘love’,  no consequence… for some people these offering looks favorable. No wonder they take the risk that challenge their adrenalin.

Everybody have different reason. But at the end, the choice is yours.

Politics in Marriage

Posted by bintari in Uncategorized

We define organization is group of people that have the same objective, then marriage can describe  as small organization with emotional bounding.

Just like other common organization, marriage as organization have core value and behavior, and since different organization have different value, vision and mission, so does the marriage is.

People instinctively build personal relationship in any setting, conflict is part of human nature, whenever people interact, and they’re going to disagree and it initially the game called “politics”. Still, politics isn’t all negative.

In the professional organization, office politic always happen since there is formal hierarchy. Actually you have the choice to avoid OR deal with it by negotiation, patient, focus, listen, observed, and build partnerships

What about politics in marriage? I think these are same options, some people ignore, and others deal with it. However, most of the people deal with it and not realize that they play some “politics”.

Which one is the best? Again, just like in organization behavior, understanding of the politics dynamic is essential to managerial success in your organization

What is the best tool? Managerial expert believe that communication is the best tools to controlling politics and minimizing conflict in organization, as well as in the marriage

Why people so paranoid? Is that because of marriage is so complicated, it could not be as simple as professional organization, involve so many emotional and feeling that cannot describe in logical thinking. If you take the wrong step, the result will regret you for life…

Hey, nobody said to have a happy marriage was going to easy, right?
